The World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE), to be held from May 28 to 30, 2024 in Hall A1 of the Hamburg Messe, will feature a program of educational sessions, live cooking demonstrations, tasting opportunities and more The highlight will be Taste of Travel Theater, which hosts the event.
The Taste of Travel program on Thursday, May 30 will focus on health and well-being, with a panel of experts providing advice on how operators can improve the passenger experience amid growing health consciousness, according to event organizers. They will discuss the challenges they face.
The day will begin with a premium breakfast service featuring healthy drinks from Jetvine's Kelly Stevenson, Virgin Atlantic's Audrey Hart and Unrooted founder Nathan Krems. Unrooted will offer the company's health drinks and tell attendees the story of baobab, Africa's most legendary superfood.
Chef Steve Walpole will then be joined by Melissa Adamski, APD Travel Nutritionist and Founder of Nuts Out Nutrition, Salim Hajif, Managing Director of Food Fork, and En Root Gwendel Hammon, food development manager at , will co-host a session exploring culinary nutrition with Biotiful's Aaron Brudney. Other special guests too.
Steve Walpole will also be joining Jetvine's Kelly Stevenson to sample free low alcohol and wellness drinks, as well as offering the latest in healthy food to the audience.
