Warner Bros. seems to have lost interest in the world of video games. After some disappointing matches, they decided to close down one of their most interesting publishing divisions.. There have been ups and downs, but things seem to be ending on a positive note. At least for the players.
Last March, several developers said on social media that Warner Bros. intended to remove their games within up to 60 days. What all these developers had in common was that they were part of a specific sublabel: Adult Swim Games.. They said a lack of resources made it impossible to negotiate publishing rights, and all of their games seemed doomed to extinction. until now.
owen dearydevelopers of small radios, large televisions, and Landon Podbielskideveloper of Duck Games, Confirmed that you have regained control of the game. This at least ensures that these two games are safe and can continue to be sold in the future.
What this means for Warner Bros. as a video game distribution company as a whole remains to be seen. It's clear that at least the Adult His Swim game is going to disappear, and perhaps some games will too. This raises questions about the future and viability of Warner Bros. as a distributor following high-profile failures such as Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Multiversus.
