Excited everyone! In just six weeks, we'll be kicking off our annual Fortune Brainstorm Tech three-day mountain retreat. It's my favorite day on the calendar!
If you've been there once, you'll know why I'm itching to hop on a flight to Park City in July. luck's Global Brainstorm event series is, in the words of its founding editor, a gathering of leading thinkers and thought leaders. In a spirit of multidisciplinary inquiry, it brings together some of the most thoughtful, connected and influential people from technology, finance, entertainment and industry to explore and examine the role of technology in the world.
As the name suggests, a Brainstorm is a group conversation. We intentionally narrow the distinction between speaker and participant to ensure that everyone we invite to participate is competent enough to speak, and ideas flow freely. Every year, we leave Brainstorm invigorated by the people we met and the stories we heard. (And a little sore from all that high-altitude hiking, horseback riding, and rafting. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right?)
This year's list of big names is impressive, and there's no hollow talk. Sequoia Capital president Rolof Botha outlines where he's betting and what it takes to get the biggest wins in Silicon Valley. Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon talks about AI's next innings. Speaking of which, Amazon, Google and Salesforce AI heads Rohit Prasad, Jeff Dean and Clara See predict where their respective tech giants are headed. And San Francisco Fed President Mary Daly delivers her economic outlook just weeks before her peers decide on interest rates.
We also have some returning Brainstorm veterans, some of whom are currently working on new projects: Peggy Johnson, now CEO of Agility Robotics, returns to show off the latest generation of humanoid robots; Samara's Joe Gebbia and Mike McNamara will explain their plans to revolutionize the housing industry; Zoox's Aicha Evans will provide an update on the complex problem of self-driving cars; and Upfront Ventures' Mark Suster will share a bit of his latest strategy for investing in the revolution.
And that's not all. Exploration Company's Helen Hubey, Venturi Astrolabs' Jarrett Matthews, and Stroke Space's Kelly Henning take us into space; Breeze Airways' David Neeleman hits the runway; Riot Games' Dylan Jadeja teases Respawn; and Wiz's Assaf Rapaport scares us with tales of cyberwar. And did we mention China yet? Ben Harburg and Jacob Helberg powerfully debate whether the US should engage or disassociate with its favorite tech friend-foe.
Our signature roundtable will cover a ton of topics (there's no cap!) including where AI valuations are headed, what customer data really matters, who will revive Unicorps, how to communicate with Gen Z, and much more. This year's Brainstorm Tech will feature thinkers from a range of prominent organizations. We're excited to hear from people at Adobe, AMD, Coca-Cola, Comcast, eBay, Mastercard, Morgan Stanley, Palantir, Samsung, SAP, Tencent, Walmart, and Zillow.
Fortune Brainstorm Tech will be live, but wouldn't it be much better to be an active participant? Register here before it's too late.
The tireless Allie Garfinkle will be back tomorrow and we'll see you in Park City!
