RICHMOND, VA (April 18, 2024) – Two CAA Championships are underway, while a busy spring schedule awaits with key weekends of lacrosse's regular season and key games across the league.

The CAA Men's Golf Championship begins Sunday morning on Data Island, South Carolina. A full preview of the championship will be released later this week. For Championship Central links, visit CAASports.com/MGolf.
Tennis | schedule
The CAA Men's Tennis Championships begin Thursday morning at the Mackesy Tennis Center on the campus of William & Mary. Top-seeded UNCW will aim for its fourth straight conference title. For live results, recaps and highlights, visit caasports.com/mtennis.
The regular season for CAA women's tennis concludes this weekend. There are three conference matches on the schedule as Drexel hosts North Carolina A&T in Towson and Elon on Friday, and UNCW takes on Campbell on Saturday.
Women's Lacrosse | schedule
Three of the four teams playing on Long Island in May have secured their tickets, and three more are vying for the final spot. Saturday's most important game in the latter race will be at Rudd Field, where Elon hosts Delaware State (12 p.m., FloLive). Elsewhere in the league on Saturday, Towson visits Campbell (12 p.m., FloLive), Drexel heads to William & Mary (1 p.m., FloLive) and Monmouth hosts Georgetown in non-conference action (1 p.m., FloLive). 1 p.m., LacrosseTV).
Hofstra (9-5, 6-0 CAA) faces No. 13 Stony Brook (13-2, 7-0 CAA) after the two Long Island programs in the CAA decided to move their matchup to Sunday. A highly anticipated solo matchup will take place, in which he will face off against CAA (loser). at Laval Stadium (12 p.m., FloLive). A win for the Seawolves would clinch the outright CAA regular season title, and a win over the East would put the Pride in control of the race for first place.
Men's Lacrosse | schedule
It's the penultimate weekend for men's lacrosse, with four games played on Saturday. The most important game will be between Fairfield (3-2) and Stony Brook (2-3) at 1 p.m. The Stags currently sit in third place in the conference standings, ahead of the Seawolves, Monmouth and Drexel. They have a 1.0 game lead over the 3-way tie. Stony Brook has defeated Fairfield in back-to-back seasons and has won six of the last seven series. Additionally, the Hawks take No. 14 Towson, the Dragons host No. 18 Delaware, and Monmouth and Drexel battle for postseason aspirations. The Tigers and Blue Hens will aim to remain undefeated in league play heading into next week's final regular season game. Towson defeated Monmouth last season in the first-ever matchup between the programs. Meanwhile, the Blue Hens and Dragons have been playing since his 1949. Delaware State has won his third straight against Drexel and he holds a 49-28 lead in the series. Finally, Hofstra hosts Hampton as the Pride look to keep their CAA Tournament hopes alive.
Softball | schedule
Two series at the top of the CAA Softball conference standings will be the highlights of the weekend. No. 1 Delaware (16-2), which has won 20 of its past 21 games, will take on No. 5 Hofstra (11-7). UD could be the first team to secure a spot in the CAA Championship as the Hens look to continue their strong run. Additionally, UNCW (13-5) hosts Campbell (14-4), with the Camels heading into the weekend 1.0 games behind the Seahawks in second and third place, respectively. Campbell defeated UNCW twice in nonconference play last season, with both games decided by two points or less, and the teams have split in the past six meetings. Additionally, Stony Brook (12-6), which has moved into third place with a 13-game winning streak, will now play Drexel (8-9), the first team outside the championship cut line.
Baseball | schedule
It will be an important weekend in the CAA baseball world, with the top four teams in the conference standings going head-to-head. No. 1 UNCW (24-13, 10-2 CAA), which extended its winning streak to six with a win over No. 12 Wake Forest on Tuesday, faces No. 2 Northeastern (27-9, 9-3 CAA). to play against. No. 2 Charleston (25-10, 9-3), which is 11-1 in its past 12 games, hosts William & Mary (25-12, 8-4 CAA), which has won all four of its conference series. do. For the first time this spring, all eight CAA crew members will be at sea this weekend. The featured team is Northeastern, which received votes in the coaches' poll, and will play four teams that are either ranked at Lake Carnegie or receive votes nationally. The Huskies will face No. 3 Princeton, No. 15 Rutgers, Columbia and Notre Dame in a tournament hosted by the defending Ivy League champions. Additionally, Drexel and UCSD will host invitationals, and Monmouth will team up with the Dragons on the Schuylkill River to compete in the Kirk Cup Regatta. Finally, Delaware State, Eastern Michigan, and Villanova State head to the Occoquan River for George's Mason Invitational, and University heads to Hawley for his Cross Invitational.
Athletics stadium | schedule
There will be plenty of athletics to watch this weekend, with 12 conference teams in action and eight programs sending student-athletes to multiple competitions. Among the highlights: North Carolina A&T will host the Aggie Classic at the Marcus T. Johnson Track, with Campbell and Elon also in attendance. Additionally, five teams will be in Charlottesville for the Virginia Challenge: Delaware, Hampton, Monmouth, Northeastern and Stony Brook. His other games with multiple CAA teams include his Wake Forest Invitational, which will feature Phoenix, the Huskies, and William & Mary. The Camels and Charleston are participating in the South Carolina Open. And Hampton and Towson will compete in the Morgan State Legacy Meet.
