Keep your thumbs ready, Columbia. CoMo Retro Game Con returns on April 20th. It draws on my love for classic video games.
The event, held at the Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center, will feature tournaments for games such as “Super Smash Bros.” And “Mario Kart 8”. arcade play. panel discussion. vendors etc.
Established in 2021, CoMo Retro Game Con appeals to “people who feel nostalgic for the vintage games they played when they were younger, and young people who are interested in purchasing vintage systems,” said organizer Summer.・Mr. Henry stated on the tournament website.
This year's panel includes guests such as Paul Niemeyer, a veteran artist whose credits include games like “Tron,” “Spy Hunter” and “Mortal Kombat,” as well as promotions for big-screen hits like “Men In.” Art is on display. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. VIP tickets are $40. Children under 12 years old are admitted free.
