
Mike Betty, a veteran video game industry executive, has been named senior vice president of revenue for Karlstad-based H. Betty Industries, the company recently announced.
Betty has nearly 30 years of experience in the consumer video game industry, spanning a variety of game production, product strategy, sales, and management roles. Previously he was CEO of the Catalis Group of services companies. He also founded his own game production company and held various management positions at Ubisoft and Sony PlayStation.
Robert Gesine, president of H. Betti Industries, expressed optimism about Betti's new role.
“Mike's extensive experience will be a tremendous addition to our senior management team,” he said. “Mike will be focused on strengthening our product portfolio and commercial position while expanding our market presence.”
