WESTFIELD — Tanley Bestin led off the game with a single to right field, his 100th career hit, and Westfield defeated Panama 18-3 in the Chautauqua-Catalogus Athletic Association Division II West game.
Bestin had 19 hits for the Wolverines (8-3, 8-1), going 2-for-3 with a triple, one RBI and three RBIs. Sydney Hotchkiss went 4-for-5 with a double and four RBIs. Drew Arnewwine had two doubles and scored two runs on two drives. Keala Kincaid had two doubles and scored three runs. Bryn Arnewane had two doubles, three runs scored, and two RBIs. Eva Gnazynski had 4 hits for 5, a double, two RBIs, and two RBIs.

FREESBURG — Eleven Frysburg batters were hit by pitches and nine walked as the Bears defeated Jamestown 15-2 in nonleague softball at the Robert H. Jackson Sports Complex on Friday. .
Paige Wippo and Tatum Jimerson had just two hits for Frewsburg (6-6). Tegan Nazario pitched well, limiting his strikeouts to just one strikeout.
Peyton Senia had two hits and Madison Potter also had a single for the Red & Green (2-9).
Cougar Outlasts Bulldog
BROCTON — Haley Myers had a double and two RBIs to lead Cassadaga Valley to a 12-9 win over Brocton in nonleague play.
Cassadaga Valley (3-8, 1-6 CCAA D2 West) had Andrea Johnson triple, Denza Fanara double with an RBI, Mia Fanara 2-for-3 and Anna Burlingame 2-for-4. did.
Johnson secured the win with four hits, two walks, 11 strikeouts, and one earned run.
Brocton (1-8, 0-6 CCAA East 1) started three pitchers: Haley Furman, Jordia Krauter and Madison Sears. Paige Miller paced the Bulldogs' offense, going 2-for-5 with two doubles, and Zoe Spiller went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
