Direct Travel has made two new appointments to its management team. Michelle Sitzman has been named chief human resources officer and Dave Breslin has been named executive vice president of customer experience for NutechStack.
Sitzman and Breslin are former executives at Talend and SAP Concur.
Last month, Direct Travel announced its acquisition by Concur founder Steve Singh and a group of investment firms. As part of the deal, former Talend and Concur executive Christal Bemont has been appointed CEO of Direct Travel.

Sitzman has 30 years of experience in human resources. Most recently, she served as Talend's Chief Human Resources Officer from 2020 until 2023.
“Having worked with Christal at Talend, I know first-hand her dedication to investing in people and the business results that those investments achieve,” said Sitzman. “I look forward to growing our talented team and leveraging my experience to maintain Direct Travel’s reputation as a great place to work in the travel industry.”
Mr. Breslin joins Direct Travel from SAP Concur and has held several positions over the past 20 years, most recently as Senior Vice President and Director of Customer Services.
“This team is pioneering a new era of integrated business travel that fully supports our customers' needs, and I can't wait to be a part of it,” Breslin said.
Since the acquisition, Direct Travel has expanded its leadership team with key hires. Talend and SAP Concur alumni Todd Pelletier and Scott Schwisow joined the team last month as chief sales officer and senior vice president, respectively.
