Monday, April 8th
of Brunswick County Planning Commission It will meet in the commission room of the Brunswick County Government Center, 30 Government Center Drive NE. The agenda includes multiple rezonings, parking reduction requests and planned development changes.
- Rezoning 12 acres of land along Macedonia Road from rural residential to nearby commercial development.
- Revisiting Holden Beach Landing requirements to more than double single-family home density from 109 to 295 units
- Liberty Healthcare wants to reduce parking spaces from 357 to 305 spaces
Pender County Board of Education A budget planning meeting will be held at the Dr. Katherine Herring Resource Center located at 798 S. US Highway 117 at 2 p.m. The meeting will be live streamed here.
leland city council A working meeting on the 2024-2025 budget will be held at City Hall from 6 p.m. This work session does not include public comment. The Leland City Council is proposing to raise the tax rate by 70% next fiscal year. The meeting can be live streamed here.
southport councilor will hold a special meeting at 9 a.m. at the Southport Community Building, 223 E. Bay St., to discuss shoreline stabilization projects, UDO and the role of the board's liaison. The meeting will be live streamed here.
Tuesday, April 9th
Brunswick County Board of Education We will meet at 6 p.m. in the conference room at the Center for Applied Science and Technology, 1109 Old Ocean Highway. The meeting will be live streamed here. The agenda can be viewed here.
New Hanover County Board of Education It will meet at the School Board Center, 1805 S. 13th St., at 5 p.m. The meeting will be livestreamed here. The agenda includes:

Belleville Planning Commission The committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at 63 River Road. Public headlines will be announced regarding changes to landscape buffers, discussion of sign ordinances, and training opportunities. The agenda can be accessed here and the recorded meeting can be accessed here.
carolina beach town council Meet at 1121 N. Lake Park Boulevard at 6 p.m. The agenda includes a public hearing on two amendments to the Zoning District Regulations, including dimensional standards for major structures and lots and standards for wine and beer shops. oak island town A regular assembly will be held at Oki Town Hall from 6 p.m. The meeting can be live streamed here. The agenda includes two quasi-judicial hearings regarding:

southport councilor A special closed session will be held at 8:20 a.m. at the Southport Community Building, 223 E. Bay St.
Topsail Beach Committee Meet at 820 S. Anderson Boulevard at 6 p.m. The agenda includes a resolution supporting the purchase of South End by the Coastal Land Trust and discussion of an application for financial assistance to purchase the South End parking lot.
Thursday, April 11th
Wilmington Historic Preservation Commission The meeting will be held in the chambers of City Hall, 102 N. Third St., at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be live streamed here. The agenda includes:

Wrightsville Beach City Councilman It will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the Wrightsville Beach City Hall Council Chambers, 321 Causeway Drive. On the agenda is consideration of a contractor to find a new town manager and NCGS 143-64.31, which would authorize an engineering firm to develop a new sidewalk on the south side of Causeway Drive from Island Drive to Live Oak Drive.
