Let's continue.
After a decade of waiting, it's almost time for the world of college football to reunite in the video game world with a blockbuster hit, with the release of EA SPORTS College Football 25 later this summer.
The game was shelved for more than a decade after a former player filed a lawsuit in 2013 over its name, imagery, and similarity to the series finale. But now, with the introduction of NIL laws, this popular video game series has made a comeback. on the map by teens playing in their parents' basements, college kids in fraternity houses across the country, and nostalgic adult gamers who want a taste of what was great back in 2013. A celebration was held.
Who doesn't want Tennessee fans to control Nico Iamareaba and James Pierce Jr.?
Like annual payments, madden The series EA College Football 25 allows players to play their favorite college football matchups, challenge others online, and create a Heisman-worthy season with created players. Admittedly, we don't know everything about this game, but we're learning more and more as the spring progresses.
Here are some of the biggest news (and rumors) coming this summer for EA College Football 25.
When will the game be released?
That's unknown at the time of publication, but the answer may be right around the corner.
The EA Sports webpage has a timer that expires on May 16th at 11am ET. The timer says it's for a cover release, which is common with sports games these days (but it's not), and it's likely that an official release date will be decided at the same time as this announcement. .
Will Tennessee play?
absolutely. It was announced on February 22nd.

Not only will Tennessee be in the game, but the Vols' Neyland Stadium will be a key feature highlighting next-gen graphics and gameplay. A rendering of Neyland Stadium and the current setup of two of his VOLS boards were shown in his EA announcement trailer in late February.
Alternate jerseys are expected to exist alongside the traditional home and away threads, but Tennessee's original Smokey Gray, Condridge Holloway-inspired Smokey Gray, or an all-black dark mode could be available soon It has not been confirmed whether this will be possible.
Current NCAA players can opt into the game and in return receive a free copy of the game and a $600 entry fee. Head coaches, including Josh Heupel, will be a feature added to the game at a later date.

Who is on the cover?
That's an interesting question.
A “deluxe edition” of the game has leaked to the PlayStation Store, showing what the cover of that particular edition will look like. Michigan's Donovan Edwards, Texas' Quinn Ewers and Colorado's Travis Hunter appear on the cover surrounded by athletes from other programs, including Alabama's Jalen Milroe and Georgia's Carson Beck. It has appeared in
It seems unlikely that this will become the standard cover, as companies including EA are looking to take advantage of collectors by releasing multiple variations of the cover. However, all will be revealed on May 16th.

However, Tennessee has created a close-up cover on the official PlayStation Store website… if you squint and zoom.
How much does the game cost?
If you've been here since the PlayStation 4/Xbox One days, first of all, welcome back. thank you. Unfortunately, however, the industry has moved on from the $59.99 standard price used previously. Most current-gen games for Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X are priced at $69.99.
According to an unconfirmed leak from GameStop's database, the Standard Edition will cost $69.99, while the Heisman Edition (which could be a step up from the Deluxe Edition) will be more than double that at $149.99. That's a pretty exorbitant price tag, unless it comes with free match tickets or local money helps Spire Sports fund their NIL efforts. It might be nothing though.
A likely scenario is that the Deluxe and Heisman editions could offer in-game incentives, early access, or potentially physical collectibles along with a steelbook case, whether split or not. That means it's expensive.

Which consoles does EA CFB 25 work with?
Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S are a lock.
A PC appearance is likely, even inevitable, if the game is successful, but it is believed that a PC appearance has not yet been confirmed.
The big question is whether the game will come to previous generation consoles like PS4 and Xbox One. The recent release of UFC 5, created by EA, was released in October on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S only, with no support for previous generations or PC. That's probably the most likely possibility, but then again, it's also possible we could have official results by lunchtime on May 16th.
