Telecom provider Telkom India (Persero) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with multi-cloud application security vendor F5 to accelerate the development and improvement of its cyber security capabilities.
“The Telkom-F5 strategic partnership strengthens Telkom Group’s capabilities as Indonesia’s digital telecommunications company of choice, especially in cybersecurity. It is also in line with Telkom’s strategic program for which it is known,” said Telkom Strategic Portfolio Director Budi Setyawan Wijaya.
According to IDC's 2023 study, the potential of Indonesia's cyber security market is expected to reach IDR 6 trillion in 2028, with a CAGR of 16.6% from 2022 to 2028.
With the growth of the digital economy and demand for digital security services in Indonesia, Telkom seeks to meet these needs through its portfolio of digital connectivity, digital platforms and digital services.
Venusiana Papasi, director of enterprise and business services at Telkom, said: “With the intensification of digital transformation campaigns in Indonesia and the implementation of the Personal Data Protection Law in October 2024, the future demand for cybersecurity will further increase.” Stated.
