UK-based travel and event management company The Appointment Group (TAG) has signed an agreement to acquire Nashville-based entertainment and luxury travel specialist Travel Stars, the companies announced.
Travelstars, which manages touring travel for country music artists and luxury travel for high-net-worth individuals, will operate as a separate division within TAG's existing Nashville office, which is home to TMC's first touring-only TAG Academy. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
TAG Group tour director Byron Carr said the acquisition of Travelstars would take the group's tour services to the “next level”.
Headquartered in London, TMC also has offices in Manchester, New York, Atlanta and Los Angeles, as well as Singapore and across Australia following the acquisition of incentives specialist CCM Travel in 2023.
“Travelstars is a highly established and trusted company in Nashville's entertainment and travel industry,” Gabriel Carr, TAG's chief operating officer, said in a statement.
“By acquiring their renowned travel management company, we will now be able to offer our mutual clients an even more bespoke service to support their rapidly growing and ever-changing entertainment and luxury travel landscape. Masu.”
The group's strategic move to Nashville comes just one month after TAG acquired California-based production travel specialist Atlantis Travel for an undisclosed sum.
