Additionally, HackerOne is one of the pioneers of crowdsourcing security, leveraging the expertise of cybersecurity researchers and offering bounties for identifying cyber vulnerabilities.
Over the years, the HackerOne network has paid out more than $230 million in bounties for identifying bugs and vulnerabilities. HackerOne's clients include companies such as General Motors, GitHub, Goldman Sachs, Google, Microsoft, Nintendo, PayPal, Slack, and Twitter.
The Ambassador World Cup is an annual competition that provides development opportunities for hacking teams within HackerOne's Ambassador program and serves to connect HackerOne's client portfolio with the global community of cybersecurity professionals.
Alexandru Jay Bălan, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Superbet Group, commented:“Two years after we began our partnership with HackerOne, Superbet has become one of the most challenging targets for the hacker community active on the platform. Furthermore, being selected as one of the three companies to take part in the Ambassador World Cup demonstrates our international recognition and proves our commitment to a solid cybersecurity strategy. The ability to protect our customers' personal data is essential to our business model and the Superbet Group's global expansion plans. We have invested significant resources and worked with the best cybersecurity experts to develop a complex information security framework and maintain a strong relationship of trust with users of our digital products. “
This year's competition will run from May 28 to June 6, with Amazon and Mercado Libre joining the other two companies. The 2023 Ambassador World Cup attracted 674 cybersecurity experts from 24 countries, who submitted more than 2,900 examples of potential vulnerabilities they had identified. Organizers are offering hackers a cash prize of up to $25,000 for each critical vulnerability identified, with the total prize pool last year reaching $1.8 million.
Superbet’s participation in this prestigious event reaffirms its commitment to ensuring the highest standards of cybersecurity for operators working with users of its digital products on payments and data analytics.
