Sunday is the Masters. Can it get any better than this?
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is aiming for his second green jacket. The 2022 Masters champion shot a 1-under 71 on Saturday and heads into Sunday's final round with a one-stroke lead. Scheffler (7 under) leads Collin Morikawa (6 under) and Max Homa (5 under) at the top of the leaderboard.
Tiger Woods will not be in contention on Sunday. After making history with his 24th consecutive appearance at Augusta, Woods struggled mightily in Saturday's third round, posting a 10-over 82, his worst Masters round ever.
USA TODAY Sports will bring you highlights and live updates throughout the day about the third round, Tiger Woods' status, leaderboards and more. follow me:

The 5th hole brings opportunities for Sunday Masters golfers
If early play is any indication, Augusta National's 575-yard par-5 second hole could be a chance for contenders to move up the leaderboard. The second eagle of the day was recorded on No. 2, when Lee Min-woo set up his approach by hitting his driver just above the fairway bunker and successfully hit the green. Lee sits at 5 over par.
Tiger Woods, on the other hand, continues to struggle and is currently in sole last place with 15 overs. He suffered a triple bogey on No. 5, followed by a bogey on No. 6, but made relatively uneventful pars on Nos. 7 and 8 as he approached the turn. – Lorenzo Reyes
Tiger Woods records first triple bogey at 2024 Masters
Tiger Woods made his first triple bogey at the 2024 Masters after taming the par-4 No. 5 in the previous round. He sliced his tee shot deep to the right, hit a provisional shot, and then had to drive back to the tee again. The batter hit the fairway, but his approach landed to the right of the pin. He deftly found the ridge to get his bogey try close to the pin, but the ensuing putt curled right around the hole, setting up a tap-in triple.
Woods is currently 14 over par 5.
Elsewhere on the course, the first eagle of Sunday was seen when American Kurt Kitayama flashed his tee shot at No. 2, creating a chance to cut the score to two strokes. He made consecutive pars on the third and fourth holes, making him 9 over par. Lorenzo Reyes
Tiger Woods has a shaky start to Game 4 of the Masters
After a rough third round on Saturday in which he posted a career-worst 10-over-par score at the Masters, Tiger Woods had a rather mixed start to the final round.
He made par on No. 1, birdie on No. 2 and bogey on No. 3.
On No. 1, Tiger found the fairway from the tee box and nudged his approach off the green. He chipped and made the putt for par.
He aggressively attacked the second par-5, hitting the green with two shots and making a long eagle attempt. He'll have to be content with two putts and his first birdie of the round.
On No. 3, Woods had a chance to cut the score by one stroke with an accurate tee shot, but when Woods hit a chip on the slope in front of the green, he lacked the pace and rolled down the hill. He failed to save par and hit bogey. – Lorenzo Reyes
Tiger Woods pars first hole in fourth round of Masters
And we're off! Tiger has historically played this hole at an abysmal 18 over, but this week he is 1 under. Tiger found the fairway in the perfect spot to attack a back pin on a plateau, but his approach landed on the green and just missed the edge. From there, he hit a nifty chip and ran away about four feet short, starting the day with a par. It's nice and smooth. And he's doing pretty well too.

Masters leader Scottie Scheffler says he plans to quit when his wife goes into labor
AUGUSTA, Ga. – There's a reason Scotty Scheffler is flying solo at this week's Masters.
His wife, Meredith, who usually accompanies him to competitions, is back at home in Dallas, where they are expecting their first child later this month.
After shooting a 1-under 71 at Augusta National on Saturday to take a one-shot lead after 54 holes, Scheffler will miss the 88th Masters under any circumstances if his wife gives birth. was reiterated. Asked Saturday night to elaborate on his plans, he said: “There's definitely a way to get home quickly. There's someone here who has access to a cell phone, if you'd like.” He turned to the Masters member presiding over the press conference as if that were allowed and said, “And yes, you can go home whenever you need to.”

Tiger Woods' new swing coach at the Masters?
Tiger Woods' son Charlie joined his father on Sunday morning at the driving range at Augusta National, where he appeared to be coaching his father ahead of Sunday's fourth round of the Masters.
After making history with 24 consecutive cutouts at Augusta, the older Woods endured his worst Masters round ever with a 10-over 82 in Saturday's third round, but will be in contention for a spot Sunday. I don't think that will happen.
