prince edwards island
Visit Canada's Prince Edward Island province and you'll find little-known beaches. It has pinkish sand, wide dunes, and water temperatures of 68 degrees in August, the warmest of any northern Virginia beach.
PEI's largest dune has three marked hiking trails ranging from less than 1 mile to 3 miles. The beach itself is about 4 miles long. Given Fobbins' small population, you won't be competing for space on this incredibly beautiful beach. During the summer, there will be lifeguard supervision, solar power and composting toilets, changing rooms, outdoor showers, a large picnic shelter, and a boardwalk to the beach. Please note that there is a small fee to enter the national park.

Hawaii, Kauai
Have you ever wanted to go to a really secluded beach, but want to enjoy a real dinner that night?
Camping isn't necessary on Kauai, Hawaii's greenest island.
Kauai's Ha'ena State Park is located on the northwestern reaches of Kuhio Highway on Kauai's north coast, at the base of Na Pali Coast State Natural Park, and provides a spectacular beach setting. Here at Ke'e Beach, you can enjoy beach-related activities such as shore fishing, swimming, and the world-famous Kalalau Trail. [11 miles]and Hanakapiai Falls Trail [4 miles]. This beach in the far northwest of the state of Hawaii is not only at the end of a two-lane road, but it's also 1,600 miles closer to Tokyo than Manhattan.
scenery? On the other side of this beach, atop the Nepali cliffs, is Waimea Canyon, a lush version of the Grand His Canyon, 300 feet deep and 16 miles long. Please note that, like other popular destinations around the world, this park has daily visitor limits. Advance reservations are required to enter the park. Reservations are required for both the park and the parking lot if you rent a car. There is no local public transportation, but ride-hailing services are available island-wide, but expect prices to be higher than in New York City.

bermuda
Just a two-hour flight from JFK, this Manhattan-sized island offers sun, surf, and British heritage. The island is still officially a British colony, which is why cars drive on the “wrong side” of the road. When you think of Bermuda, you might think of pink flamingos, but interestingly, this is more of a publicist's dream. Although they do not grow wild here and are not a native species, they have been a part of Bermuda aquariums, museums and zoos for the past 70 years. Think of the 30 beaches that line Bermuda's coast.
Catch the number 7 bus in Hamilton, the island's largest community, and you'll arrive at Church Bay, a snorkeller's paradise. Coral reefs near the coast provide shelter from waves and a diverse community of marine life. This small South Shore beach feels like you're in a natural aquarium, filled with parrotfish, angelfish, and many other species. The park overlooking the beach has a picnic area, restrooms, a snack bar, and a place to purchase snacks.
Although there aren't many pink flamingos on the island, there are 30 beaches with pink sand. Wouldn't it be better to do that instead of looking up at the scaffolding on top of many buildings in Manhattan?

Santa Monica State Beach, California
How about swimming at the beach on the Upper West Side of Los Angeles?
We're talking about Santa Monica State Beach here. In August, the Pacific water temperature rises to 67 degrees, the waves are very calm, and the 170-acre sandy beach stretches along 3.5 miles of beach. There are parks, picnic areas, playgrounds, restrooms, and lifeguard stations.
At the south end of the park is Santa Monica Pier, the terminus of classic Route 66. When you want to do more than sunbathe and surf, shopping therapy awaits, along with places to eat.
Further north is the Annenberg Community Beach House, a unique location with stunning views, a splash pad, playground, and beach court. You can tour the Gold Coast-era guest house all year round and enjoy access to the pool in the summer.
Accessible from anywhere in the Los Angeles Basin by rental car, hail vehicle, bus, or light rail. Dining spots, delicious food, and interesting shops are all within walking distance.

coney island
No expensive tickets required. The final destination is a short subway ride away. Coney Island Beach is the perfect place to go when you don't know what to do with your time away from work.
From Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend, this is the place to be. What is the beach fee? Not here. If you're hungry or thirsty, there are plenty of places on the other side of the miles-long boardwalk. Don't you think of Nathan's as hot dogs?
After the Civil War, Coney Island became a resort destination with the arrival of the excursion railroad, new streetcar lines, and large hotels. Today, the magical beach and its nearby food, drink, and attractions occupy a high place in the North American beach pantheon (one of his top 25 beaches for travel and leisure this year). Luna Park adds an iconic touch with its world-famous roller coaster and Ferris wheel, making it the perfect place to bring visiting friends and family.
This famous 4.4 mile long boardwalk has 1.3 million boards and is one of the most world-famous, if not the longest. Shopping therapy, snacks, cold drinks to beat the fever, and more are all available along the way. During the summer, lifeguards are stationed throughout the beach swimming area.
