As the culmination of a six-month leadership journey, the Early Childhood Leadership Institute (ECLI) Class of 2024 celebrated their accomplishments with a graduation ceremony in mid-April at Burke Mountain Resort in East Burke. Family, friends, and colleagues attended a luncheon to celebrate the graduation.
This year's keynote address was given by Addison County Councilwoman Jubilee McGill. Mr. McGill reflected on the current state of early childhood care in Vermont and the importance of the profession and leadership in this field. She thanked her colleagues for their work and leadership.
ECLI co-directors Cheryl Mitchell and Sue White then presented graduation plaques to 22 members of the Early Childhood Leadership Institute's Class of 2024.
The Class of 2024 is ECLI's sixth graduating class and currently joins a professional network of more than 1,000 Vermont Leadership Network alumni. That includes more than 150 of her ECLI alumni who are positively impacting the future of Vermont's children and families.
