Thankfully, Shea Richardson is busy exploring the exhibit area in search of the coolest items she can find. This is his second deployment of his exciting new technology. ENVE Fray all-road bike and classified hub gearing
This eye-catching bike from ENVE is versatile. The Sea Otter was set up in the guise of a road bike, but a closer look reveals some of the potential associated with its all-road claims. ENVE exclusive road bikes feature up to 40mm of tire clearance, onboard storage space and a more relaxed geometry. ENVE recently partnered with Classified and this bike features his Classified rear hub with his innovative 2-speed internal hub gear, giving him 2x gear range in a 1x configuration .

Elitewheels Helix wheels
Some of you may be familiar with the super cool looking Helix wheels from Elitewheels. It features a variable-depth corrugated rim profile designed to improve stability in crosswinds. The shallowest of the Helix series, the 46D, weighs just 1280g.
Van Rysel RCR Pro Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale Team Bike
This bike has already garnered a lot of attention this year, largely due to its status as a world tour bike from a slightly different stable than the norm: bike retailer giant Decathlon. That makes it a little more affordable for a WorldTour team bike. In fact, when this bike went on sale to the public in Europe, it sold out within hours.

Benno RemiDemi Electric Cargo Bike
Si is well known for his love of cargo bikes, so perhaps it was no surprise that he was wandering around the Benno stand admiring the RemiDemi XL. This is an ultra-compact electric cargo bike with 20-inch wheels, 3.6-inch wide tires, a Bosch Performance Line motor, a front-mount rack, and space for a few kids in the back. Maybe it's on Si's next commute list?

cane creek inverted fork
This fork from American brand Cane Creek uses an upside-down design in a different way than traditional suspension forks, and claims to be the first fork dedicated to gravel. This new fork is available in his two different looks: Invert CS with 40mm of travel and Invert SL with 30mm of travel.
BMC road machine
The third generation of BMC's Roadmachine is firmly targeted at the all-road market with 40mm tire clearance, a rear light neatly integrated into the seat tube, and bike storage in the downtube.
igus recycled plastic bikes
Probably one of Sea Otter's most innovative bikes this year, and definitely one of the most talked about. why? Well, this bike from the German brand Igus is made from 92% recycled plastic, of which 50% is recycled fishing net. igus has been producing polymers for the past 60 years and has recently focused on producing sustainable bicycles. This is targeted at the city bike rental market, so it needs to be durable with wear-resistant components. It certainly looks like it's on the right track.
