For travelers driving in Santa Cruz County on Sunday, May 12th, or those with Mother's Day plans, Caltrans work may impact your driving time. In addition, crews will close “various ramps” at the Soquel Drive and 41st Street interchange. Caltrans noted that two consecutive on-ramps or off-ramps are never closed at the same time. The current work is part of a larger project that includes adding auxiliary lanes, improving bus shoulders, and adding new crosswalks for bicycles and pedestrians.
