Rehoboth and Ocean City, Maryland promoted by popular travel websites

Delaware is known for its beach towns, one of which was named one of the top 20 in the country by a popular travel website.

Thrill List writers and editors named Rehoboth Beach as one of the top 20 on the list released in April. Later, Ocean City, Maryland also made the list.

With a strange reference to a “buff guy” on a “preternaturally small speedo bike,” Thrillist takes a break from Rehoboth's LGBTQ community, its boardwalk, amusement park, free summer concerts, and youthful good times at Dewey Beach. It advertised its closeness.

“It’s also a craft beer geek’s paradise. Dogfish Head founder Sam Calagione can often be seen skateboarding around town. “Chesapeake & Main is one of the first landmarks when you arrive at the beach,” the website states.
