QuikTrip's new travel center is now open in Rockford, Illinois.
The location is located at 8070 E. State St., just off Interstate 90, and serves 18 gasoline vehicles and six diesel truck bays.
The Tulsa, Oklahoma-based retailer has 13 convenience stores in the Midwest, with three more under construction and scheduled to open this year.. The new store is located in University Park, a south suburb of Chicago. Romeoville, a southwest suburb of Chicago. and Bloomington, located in central Illinois.

“We are excited to continue to bring QuikTrip’s signature commitment to quality and efficient service to Rockford,” said Aisha Jefferson, QuikTrip Corporate Communications Manager. “Our travel center model provides a safe, clean and friendly stop for the many travelers driving along I-90 and local residents of the area.”
The Rockford store features a more spacious store design than traditional KwikTrip locations and is bringing 20 new jobs to the area, KwikTrip said.
The store has a full-service kitchen and offers fresh, made-to-order meals as well as grab-and-go options like QuikTrip's signature pizza slices and roller grills.
QuikTrip is a privately held company. Founded in 1958, the chain currently operates more than 900 stores in 17 states.
