Prime Video will soon launch its video game-inspired series “Fallout.” Even before its release, it has been a hot topic not only among fans of the game, but also among fans who are known for binge-watching the entire series.
Well, that's not all there is to say about the upcoming action show, as the streaming platform has begun its awards campaign for this year's Emmy Awards. Here's everything you need to know about it.
'Fallout' launches Emmy Award winning campaign
Prime Video has launched an awards campaign and is aiming for an Emmy nomination this year. One of his notable nominations is for Outstanding Drama Series, and another is for Leading Actor, as well as several other categories.
The upcoming series' three main actors, Walton Goggins, Ella Purnell and Aaron Moten, are also among the nominees.
Goggins, who plays a mutant gunslinger named Cooper Howard, is in the running for the lead actress category, along with Ella's young character Lucy. Morten, who plays Maximus, is eyeing the supporting actor category.
The pilot episode of Fallout, called “The End,” will also be submitted for Emmy consideration by series creator and director Jonathan Nolan. In addition, the same episode will also be submitted by authors Geneve Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner.

Prime Video's Fallout is an adaptation of a video game that depicts events taking place on a post-apocalyptic alternate Earth.
The series shows the lives of survivors in the Vault, a place designed to save humanity after a nuclear disaster. Ella Purnell plays Lucy, a young woman who emerges from her Vault 33 to explore devastated Los Angeles.
The series has a 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is expected to have the same success as The Last of Us at the Emmy Awards.
