It's been a long time since we had a truly dramatic ending in a major championship. It's going to take something special for everyone to make a run at the 2024 PGA Championship.
Starting Sunday, 15 players will be within five strokes of the lead. Collin Morikawa and Xander Schauffele are -15, one stroke ahead of Sahith Segala, who fought well despite a tough start on Saturday. Behind them is a traffic jam.
It looks like it's going to be a wild final round.

Scotty Scheffler turns out to be human
Scottie Scheffler got off to a mediocre start in the fourth round, a day after hitting over par for the first time since last August. He bogeyed the first hole and then missed a 6-foot shot for birdie, leaving him at 6 under. No one would blame him for coming back to reality after Friday's events.

Golf can be cruel
Brooks Koepka threw a dart at number 7…and this happened:
The tap-in for birdie turned into par. Koepka was 3 under for the round, but 7 under for the tournament, which has not been repeated.

No. 13 is drivable
Here are some highlights later in the day: His 349-yard par-4 13th is clearly driveable.
He'll end up making that short putt for eagle.
This can get interesting later in the day when the leader heads there with someone who needs to take action.

The final round of the 2024 PGA Championship is underway. Yes, the scores will be announced today. Red numbers are already dotting the leaderboard early on, including Brooks Koepka, who finished his round at 2 under after just four holes. If that's any indication, it's going to be a shootout for the top of the leaderboard.
