With new episodes set to be released this week, the following official clip from Marvel Studios' X-Men '97 is sure to make '90s video game fans smile.
Three episodes have concluded and a new episode is scheduled to air this week, but Marvel Studios' X-Men '97 offers a preview of “Motendo/Lifedeath – Part 1” that fans of the famous 90s video game will love. In the official clip “X-MEN Arcade”, Holly ChowJubilee and Guy Agustini's Roberto da Costa/Sunspot finds himself having to face off against a trio of Sentinels in a video game-themed battle commanded by Mojo.
X-MEN '97: What's next…
Depicts the scene immediately after the final episode “Graduation Day” (Director: larry houston and wrote james krieg), the series will apparently deal with the fallout from the world witnessing Henry Peter Gyrich shoot Xavier during the Mutant-Human Relations Summit. While Xavier and Lilandra head to Thea's homeworld to treat Xavier, global support for mutantkind grows. As we've seen in previous previews of the animated series, we'll see some changes to the X-Men roster as Morph and Bishop join the team. Apparently things are so good that Rogue & Gambit is considering trying their hand at the real world, while Cyclops and Storm want to keep Professor X's dream growing. Even Magneto seemed moved enough by Xavier's words and actions to consider giving Xavier's philosophy a try. Now, with these “happy days” continuing, what better time for Mister Sinister to return?
Marvel Animation's “X-Men'97” revisits the iconic era of the 1990s. The X-Men, a band of mutants who use their mysterious talents to protect a world that hates and fears them, are forced to face unprecedented challenges. A dangerous and unexpected new future.
