DENVER (KDVR) — If you're looking to hoist the virtual Larry O'Brien trophy in this year's NBA 2K24 game, you'll want to play as Jamal Murray's realistic-looking character.
Season 7 of NBA 2K24 was released on Friday, with the addition of a new athlete: Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets.
The game features a variety of NBA stars each year, but this year Murray is one of the newcomers, praised for his winning shot in the postseason and his comeback from injury three years ago.
“After suffering a season-ending injury in 2021 and missing the entire 2021-2022 regular season, Murray returned to form in 2023 and played a pivotal role in the Nuggets hoisting the Larry O'Brien Trophy. “In Season 7, take inspiration from Murray's late-game heroics in the NBA Playoffs and leave an indelible mark on the hardwood,” NBA 2K24 said in a courtside report.
The latest installment of the 20-year-old video game features players like Jimmy Butler and Cam Thomas. The game also doesn't forget about Murray's partner in crime, Nikola Jokic, who can be unlocked at level 40. The game also comes with new perks, equipment, and album drops.
Play like Murray with half-court and multiple game-winning shots in this year's NBA video games. However, hopefully in Game 6 of the Nuggets vs. Minnesota he plays better than the Timberwolves.
