Spring is just around the corner, and every week promises to bring indie favorites and triple-A hits. This year is off to a strong start so far, although we still have a lot of work to do compared to the best releases of 2023. This week is packed with bangers, with new releases for all types of gamers.

Alone in the Dark (3/20)

90's survival horror classic alone in the dark More than 30 years after the original game, it has been reimagined and updated. Starring Jodie Comer and David Harbour, you play Emily Hartwood and Agent Edward Carnby as they investigate the disappearance of Emily's uncle from the Desert Manor asylum. A Southern Gothic feel hangs heavily throughout the game, and you never know what monsters and horrors may be lurking behind every corner or door of the mansion.
Princess Peach: Showtime! (3/22)

Princess Peach plays the leading role for the first time in 20 years Princess Peach: Showtime! When Grape and the Sour Bunch decide to call off the party, she and a group of toads attend a performance at the Sparkle Theater. Using various costume changes and the powers they give her, including Ninja Peach, Pastry Chef Peach, and Sword Fighter Peach, she saves the theater from sour grapes. Rise of Ronin (3/22)

Set in an era when Western influences began to enter Japan, the game uses not only the trusty sword but also rifles and handguns in battle. The game's story revolves around the Boshin War, a Japanese civil war, and players can make decisions throughout and ultimately support either side.
Dragon's Dogma II (3/22)

For immersive RPG fans, 2023 means baldur's gate 3. 2024 could be that year Dragon's Dogma II?Builds on the systems of the first game using new, more powerful hardware, making the world appear denser and deeper.? Everything you do in the game is up to you, including your character's appearance, occupation, how you handle each situation, and even the customizable “pawns” that join your party. You'll have to wait until the weekend to play, though. Dragon's Dogma II, you can download Character Creator now and play it your way. See if you can outrun this scary Pikachu.
