Spring is here and with it comes the promise of indie favorites and triple-A hits being released every week. This year is off to a strong start so far, although we still have a lot of work to do compared to the best releases of 2023.

One of the best indie games of 2023 turns out to be fully multiplatform this week. Lana's planet Released on Switch and PlayStation consoles. This is a cinematic puzzle platformer with gorgeous visuals and a cinematic soundtrack. You, as Lana, try to save your community from alien invaders. Lana's planet Perfect for enjoying bite-sized chunks on mobile devices like the Switch. Also, on the big screen he can be enjoyed all at once in one fun session.
Final Fantasy XVI: The Rising Tide (4/18)
Platform: PS5
last year's Final Fantasy XVI Receives second DLC expansion rising tide. Clive is summoned to a new area, Mysidia, to rescue Akon of Water, the long-lost ruler of Leviathan. He is accompanied by his new ally, Shura, as he investigates the tragic history of the Mysidia people. rising tide is part of FFXVIseason pass (combined with December season pass) Echoes of the Fallen), sold separately for $19.99.
No Rest for the Bad (4/18)
Platform: PC
instead of creating a third Ori Games, Moon Studios' next project is a new IP. no rest for the wicked. Launched in early access for PC, no rest for the wicked It's an isometric RPG that focuses on intuitive and detailed action. Early Access includes an open chapter of the game, which will be updated with multiplayer and more content throughout the EA period. Xbox Series X/S and PS5 versions are also in development and the full version will be released at a later date.
