Spring is here and with it comes the promise of indie favorites and triple-A hits being released every week. This year is off to a strong start so far, although we still have a lot of work to do compared to the best releases of 2023.

Topspin 2K25 (4/26)
Platform: PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S
After 13 years and two console generations, topspin series returns Topspin 2K25. It features deep gameplay, challenging Grand Slam tournaments (including Wimbledon!), and a roster featuring over 20 modern-day superstars and legends of yesteryear that previous games do very well. Emulate and iterate everything you've learned. Create your own player in MyCareer and fight for the top spot in the rankings. Sounds promising, though. Topspin 2K25 is 2K's first tennis game since microtransactions really started making their way into titles, and I'm a little nervous about the inclusion of a battle pass. Regardless, we're glad to see a top-notch tennis game coming to the current console generation.
Also worth adding to your wishlist: Another Crab's Treasure, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants, Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes, Lunar Lander: Beyond, Phantom Fury.
