RALEIGH, N.C. (May 22, 2024) – Wake Tech and Campbell University have entered into a partnership that will provide students at the state's largest community college with a secure pathway to a bachelor's degree. Officials from both institutions signed a memorandum of understanding today during a ceremony at Wake Tech's Scott Northern Wake Campus.
The Campbell Guaranteed Admissions Program offers students currently enrolled at Wake Tech admission to Campbell University upon graduation. This program is based on the Independent Comprehensive Association Agreement (ICAA). To guarantee admission to the university, students must earn an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree or an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Criminal Justice Technology or Biopharmaceutical Technology from Wake Tech. there is. You must also enroll at Campbell within one year of graduating from Wake Tech.
To support Wake Tech students' transition to college, Campbell faculty and staff provide communication throughout the transfer process, as well as advice and guidance regarding admissions and financial aid. Students in this program also have the opportunity to participate in Campbell's campus events, including athletic and cultural activities, to foster a sense of belonging within the university community.
