British developer Newfangled Games has announced an all-new adventure game, titled. paper trail. The origami-inspired title tasks players with solving craft-inspired puzzles when it launches on May 21st.
“Twist, turn, turn, twist and change the structure of the world as you solve the puzzles of the world. paper trail” says the Steam description of the title. The developers designed the game to allow players to “fold and tear” through a “diverse and populous paper world.” In layman's terms, users must drag objects, shine lights, and push rocks into folded paths to open up new opportunities.
The main character of the game is an 18-year-old girl named Paige, who strives to become an astrophysics student at her village university. “Despite mixed reactions from her family, she sets out on an epic journey to begin her first trimester, mastering her own powers in the process,” Newfangled said. states. She said, “During her journey, she will meet many characters with their own interesting stories, who will also help her forge a new path.”
