Stanford trailed for much of the game and had to play all overtime without star player Cameron Brink. But the second-seeded Cardinal found a way to advance to the Sweet 16. Kiki Iliafen, who recorded 41 points and 16 rebounds, was a big reason for that.
After an Iowa State turnover, Stanford had the ball and led 85-81, and it was almost over. The second seed looks likely to survive.
