NEW YORK, May 20, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — MEDIROM Healthcare Technologies Inc. (NasdaqCM: MRM, “MEDIROM”), a Japan-based holistic healthcare company, announced today, June 20, 2024. We announced that we will be participating in the “NASDAQ JAPAN IR Event” to be held at the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square. Currently, five companies (including one unlisted company) are scheduled to participate in this event, which will disseminate information about the appeal of the Japanese market to people around the world.
the purpose
In December 2020, our company became the first Japanese company to be listed on the NASDAQ in 21 years. Currently, the number of Japanese companies listed on NASDAQ has increased to eight. While an increasing number of Japanese companies are taking on the challenge of entering the global market, the appeal of Japanese companies is still largely unknown to investors around the world. Therefore, we will be holding the “NASDAQ JAPAN IR EVENT'' for the first time, with the aim of “spreading knowledge to the US market'', bringing together Japanese companies that are taking on the challenge of listing on the US market and developing their corporate brands.
