For the second time in less than a week, the Monterey Bay Area Association of Governments (AMBAG) is soliciting vendors for five-year service contracts. This time it's a website support service. The RFP was issued on April 1st.
AMBAG is a public agency operating under a joint powers agreement that includes Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito counties and local governments. The association is funded by “federal transportation funds, grants, and dues.”
According to the RFP document, the association maintains a primary website and several other “specialty sites” that: Scope of contract. The association's current website support services agreement expires on June 30th.
“[A] Successful candidates will be required to work with Drupal Content Management System (CMS) version 10.2 (or latest release) for the AMBAG.org and PAJARORIVERWATERSHED.org websites. “Additional specializations are integrated within the primary AMBAG.ORG site,” the package states.

AMBAG also submitted another RFP for a five-year IT support services contract last week.
