The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and Mastercard today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in the area of cybersecurity, with the aim of strengthening cyber resilience in Singapore's financial services sector.
This strategic partnership aims to further strengthen collaboration between MAS and Mastercard in the following areas:
- Bilateral sharing of cyber threat intelligence to increase cyber situational awareness in the financial services sector.
- Jointly analyze the latest cyber threats affecting the financial services sector and generate actionable insights and recommendations on possible countermeasures.and
- Capacity-building activities such as joint cybersecurity exercises, staff training, and training visits.
