Delaware State Police arrested Jane Fenser, 55, of Townsend, on suspicion of making fraudulent credit card purchases through Middletown-based travel agency Wanderlust Tours and Travel.
On January 26, officers received a report of multiple fraudulent credit card purchases made through Wanderlust Tours and Travel, located at 717 South Cox Street in Middletown.
Police learned that Fencer allegedly used a former customer's credit card to make more than $19,000 worth of fraudulent purchases in December 2023. During the investigation, detectives from the Second Unit Criminal Investigation Division learned that a former customer of Fencer's travel agency had reported unauthorized purchases by Fencer on his credit card. Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Fencer.
Fencer reported to Bear's Troop 2.
