A simple 3D platformer, Master Maker 3D Ultimate It only costs $5 and has some easy and big point achievements, but the quality is horribly low.
All stage assets are composed of plain blocks that provide an intentional low-poly visual design. That's fine. The theme is retro style. However, the play controls are imprecise, with characters sometimes moving on their own, jumps being sporadic, and the lack of a checkpoint system just frustrating. Like trying to control a wet fish out of water, play control breaks down and causes many unintentional deaths. The stage design isn't great either. Nothing is fun when you get frustrated so easily. Also, enemies rarely move, and even if they do, they may foolishly fall off a cliff. In some cases, the player has to wait forever for his one moving platform to return.
There's an option to create your own levels, but why not? The play controls are still terrible, and the stiff animations don't do the platforming any good. The Magic Hammer, which destroys blocks and comes back like a boomerang, is an attempt to bring fun and aggression to players, but it also comes with some contradictions. First, the player must find the hammer and collect it in order to use it. Players don't simply start with a hammer at the beginning of each stage. And if you die, you have to remember it boringly every time. There are also dozens of coins to collect in each stage, but they literally do nothing. You can't spend them. They do not gain extra lives. They're literally just there for the show, there's no point.
The camera is also broken and floating. The game even gives you the option to lock the camera in place. mario 3d land On 3DS, you just track the player from a fixed angle. This perspective makes you feel a little less stressed on the platform, but it also prevents you from seeing far. In some stages, the path branches, so there's a good chance you'll end up going in the wrong direction, collecting coins that don't do anything, or accidentally falling into a hole on the way back due to poor operability. It's possible.
To make matters worse, the single looping music track is annoying. Funnily enough, but in a bad way, when you reach the ending pole of a stage, the game's announcer will say something like, “Oh, baby” or “You're a winner.”
unfortunately, Master Maker 3D Ultimate This is definitely one of the lowest quality games EastAsiaSoft has ever published. This is shocking because usually they release consistently high quality stuff. Under no circumstances is this digital download recommended.

Not as good as other 3D platformers

It's a very low-quality 3D platformer that plays like your first “Hello World” game at the end of your first semester of high school.
