Most fans will have seen Erling Haaland in action on the pitch at various stadiums in England and Europe during Manchester City matches. But now you can also see him in another avatar, as the Barbarian King in his mobile game “Clash of Clans”.
Notably, Harland is a playable character in the popular video mobile game “Clash of Clans,” the game's developer Supercell revealed on Tuesday.
Importantly, Harland's “Barbarian King” is the first in-game creation to be based on an actual real person. Just because he's a longtime fan of the game himself doesn't mean he needed too much coaxing to get into the game.
Haaland, who hails from Norway, posted the trailer of the game on his social media handles to inform his fans about the game and his presence in it. In the game, he is shown encountering the game's characters before being transported to the game world.
“When we heard that Haaland was a fan of our game and wanted to partner with us, it was truly a dream scenario,” Clash of Clans General Manager Stuart McGaw told Press stated in a release.
“I've been a huge fan of the game for a long time and I know everything about it, so it's really cool to be featured as a character in the game,” Haaland added.
While his presence in this mobile video game is exciting, the real excitement lies in the English Premier League, where Manchester City will battle Arsenal for the title. Just a few days ago, Liverpool were also on the list, but now they have disappeared, leaving only City and the Gunners.
One possible advantage for Manchester City is that they have played one game less than the Gunners. If they win all four games left in the season, they will lift the trophy. However, there is still a lot of uncertainty about the final outcome and who will win the league.
