Late in the film, after losing her arm and turning her attention fully to revenge on the Dementus, Furiosa roams the Citadel looking for a car. While the War Boys and most of the Black Thumbs are fighting in the 40-Day Wasteland War, Furiosa approaches a trio and asks if she can get them a car. They don't have much of a choice, but one of the people she approaches gets an idea and walks to a corner of the Citadel and removes a seat from a broken-down car that doesn't even have any wheels on it. He even asks, “Isn't she beautiful?”
Fan of Mad Max Video game users may notice that the speaking style this mechanic brings to the film is very similar to Max's mechanic, the Chum Bucket, from the game itself. Furiosa: The Mad Max Saga The character has confirmed that he is in fact Chumbucket, despite bearing absolutely no resemblance to the Chumbucket from the video game, and although he only makes a brief on-screen appearance, it's an unmistakable cameo for fans of the game. While the video game connection is easily visible in the feature film, Furiosa Director George Miller didn't speak too highly of the Mad Max video game while promoting the film this week, telling Rad Bible , “We did make a video game when we made Fury Road. We were asked to do it multiple times, but it never turned out as good as we wanted it to. It was out of our control, so we gave all the materials to a company to make it. But I'm the kind of guy who doesn't want to do something unless I can do it at the highest level, or at least try to do it at a high level.”
