Little Kitten, Big City – Story
Taking a cat's signature afternoon nap on a windowsill, you stretch out with all your might and tumble through the air, landing on the road below. Thankfully, being a cat, you land unscathed, but you're lost and not strong enough to attempt the climb back home.
Thankfully, the titular “big city” is dotted with tasty fish that will replenish the energy needed to climb higher, and is home to plenty of helpful creatures to aid you along the way.
Little Kitty, Big City is a must-see for cat fans.
Little kitten, big city It's packed with cat-related charm, with countless puns and plenty of cute cat-speak to melt even the coldest of hearts. Double Dagger Studio's latest title is a must-have addition to any cat lover's games collection.
It’s a very simple plot, Little kitten, big city Instead, you can focus on side missions and collectibles. In such a short game (around 2 hours from start to finish), there's plenty to keep you busy if you're aiming for 100% completion. You can find the perfect spot to snooze, touch a bird's nest, collect hats, etc. Yes, that's right!
The hats are scattered around town in gumball machines, as well as some in hard-to-reach locations that are tricky to collect but not frustrating. There are 42 hats to collect, and they come in a variety of styles, ranging from cute to downright adorable.
Little Kitty, Big City: Fun, Healthy, Family-Friendly
Double Dagger Studio We have done everything we can to make this game as harmless as possible and have acted carefully not to upset children. They say cats have nine lives, but cats don't have any. Little kitten, big city Because there's no way for them to die. Any birds you capture during the game can also be released unharmed by simply taking the feathers they leave behind. The feathers can be used to travel faster around town with “Petwork,” making everyone happy.
It's a shame “Little Kitty Big City” was so short-lived.
If you play at a steady pace, you can accomplish the game's main objective in just a few hours. There's plenty more to do, but I wish it had taken longer to get home. On the other hand, some of the tasks required for the coveted 100% achievement are too demanding. For example, recycling discarded soda cans might be fun for the first 10 cans, but quickly becomes a chore once you reach the 100 cans goal.
I did encounter a few bugs while playing, however these were quickly resolved by restarting the game and were nothing that couldn't be fixed with a simple update.
summary
Despite some pesky bugs and short clearing times, I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the big city as a little kitten. This title captivated me from the get-go and I have no doubt that I will be achieving all of the achievements in the future.
