Under a new law praised by Gov. Bill Lee and National Football League Commissioner Roger Goodell, all high schools in Tennessee will be required to have equipment on hand to handle cardiac arrest emergencies.
Goodell, who was in Nashville for the NFL Spring Games, joined the governor and legislative leaders on the Pearl Cone High School football field Tuesday morning and was placed within 1,000 feet of high school sports activities in the state. Approved a new law to install defibrillators.
