The Flats – Georgia Tech baseball scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat No. 9 Duke, 8-6, in a late lockdown pitching game Sunday afternoon at McNeese Baseball Field at Russ Chandler Stadium.
The Yellow Jackets (30-19, 14-13 ACC) are off to a sensational start from freshman running back H.P. Tate McKeepitched 6.1 innings, the longest of his career, allowing just three runs on four hits (two of which came in the seventh inning) and tied a career high with nine strikeouts.
