Saturday parking information
Here are parking and traffic details for Saturday, April 13th as fans flood the Flats throughout the day to support the Yellow Jackets.
Free parking
Free parking for fans will be open on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 9 a.m. in the following parking lots:
- Visitor Area 1 – North Street
- W21 – First Drive
- Barge deck (E46)
- O'Keefe Gym (E63)
- McCamish Pavilion (E65)
- Family housing deck (ER66)
- Fowler Street, between 6th street and 10th street
Parking at Claus Deck (E40) is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, but from 1:30 PM parking is limited to the baseball lot (5 per vehicle) dollar).
ADA parking
ADA parking is available adjacent to Claus Deck (E40) on a first-come, first-served basis. A complimentary shuttle will run from the ADA parking lot to the Bobby Dodd Stadium entrance (Gate 6) at Hyundai Field from 10 a.m. until one hour after the platinum game.
road closure
The following roads will be closed to general traffic from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Techwood Drive Between 5th street and north street
- Fowler Street, between First Drive/5th Street and Bobby Dodd Way
- Fourth Street between Fowler Street and Techwood Drive

• Georgia Tech baseball will look to extend its home winning streak against No. 16 Virginia Tech April 12-14 at Mac Neese Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium.
• The Jackets and Hokies have met 65 times dating back to 1980, when Tech held a 42-23 advantage.
• Tech has had incredible success against VT, winning 26 of 37 games since 2011 and losing all three games last season.
• Tech's remaining schedule is rated as the third-toughest in all of Division I as its remaining opponents have a combined winning percentage of .710 (504-206).
• Tech will play a weekend series against No. 16 Virginia Tech, No. 11 Virginia, No. 2 Clemson, No. 7 Duke, No. 10 Florida State and unranked Miami (Fla.).
• Tech will look to its top two hitters in Trae Junger (.369) and Drew Burress (.368) to help them develop going forward.
• Junger was sensational at Pitt, hitting .429 with six hits, including a double and a home run, while Burress hit .364 with four hits, hitting his 15th home run of the season.
• The real hero of the weekend was Matthew Ellis, who was blistering at the plate, hitting .538 with seven hits, two doubles, two home runs and a 1.725 OPS.
• A total of seven Yellow Jackets are hitting .300 against an offense that is hitting .299 as a team.
• Georgia Tech's pitching staff struggled all weekend, posting a 3.46 ERA, giving up just 10 runs, striking out 24 batters and holding batters to a .240 batting average in three straight games.
• Freshman Tate McKee shined in his first ACC start, pitching 5.0 innings with nine strikeouts and allowing just one hit (a solo home run) in the win.
• Tech's pitching continued to impress against Georgia Southern, holding the Eagles to just four runs and recording nine strikeouts.
