Jackbox has been a party game staple for a while now, and they usually try to keep things family-friendly. However, with the announcement of the M rating, things will change. jackbox prank pack Monday at the ID@Xbox Showcase.
Jackbox announces M-rated Naughty Pack at Xbox Showcase
Coming later this year, the Naughty Pack is Jackbox's first ever M-rated pack. The developer describes Naughty Pack as “an intimate pack of three of his games that are sure to make you laugh and sweat a little.” They also shared a humorous teaser trailer that shows that even cardboard boxes have a romantic side.
The trailer includes a line in which a consumer named Carol asks Jackbox to “make a game for adults only.” But she's not the only one looking for an M-rated party girlfriend game. Jackbox said from social media and customer feedback surveys, she has received multiple requests for adult-only party games. “As with any healthy relationship, we listened,” the studio says.
Jackbox released Party Pack 10 last year, which included five games. Tee KO 2 is a picture guessing game for 3 to 8 players, while Timejinx is a time travel themed video game for 1 to 8 players. On the other hand, “Dodoremi” is a rhythm game, and “Hypnotorious” is a social deduction game. Finally, FixyText sees players creating chaotic responses to text messages. Additionally, previous packs have included word games such as his Quiplash and the trivia game You Don't Know Jack.
Jackbox has not revealed which games will be included in the Naughty Pack, nor has it announced an exact release date for the pack. But the studio says fans will get more information this summer.
