TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Here's your chance to support Ivy Tech during the organization's annual Day of Giving.
This year's annual fundraising event will begin on Tuesday, April 23 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time, according to a release from Ivy Tech.
The university's second annual Day of Giving is a 24-hour event in which people from across the community are encouraged to give to the university, including students, faculty, staff, community leaders, and donors of all backgrounds. .
“Ivy Tech has been woven into the fabric of Indiana for more than 60 years, helping nearly 1 million Hoosiers earn degrees, courses and certifications that support career success and upward mobility while increasing the state's prosperity. ” said Dr. Sue Elsperman. said the president of Ivy Tech Community College. “If you have ever been treated in an Indiana hospital, driven a car built in Indiana, or are a young person who graduated high school with dual credit, you likely benefited from Ivy Tech. Ivy Tech Day is an opportunity for all Hoosiers to help deliver “higher education at the speed of life” and meet students' most pressing needs. ”
There are multiple ways for people in the community to participate in Ivy Tech's annual Day of Giving, including:
- Make a gift and participate in a matching opportunity on Ivy Tech Day. For each of his 10 unique donors who make a gift on April 23rd, he will unlock an additional $1,000, up to $10,000.
- Be one of the first 50 donors to donate $50 or more and receive a limited edition handmade Ivy Tech mug.
- Become a Social Ambassador and share how Ivy Tech has impacted your life and why you're a supporter.
- Visit one of our partner companies participating in Ivy Tech Day and give back to Ivy Tech while supporting your business.
