The Iowa High School Sports Awards, presented by SCHEELS, is proud to announce the nominees for Boys Basketball Player of the Year. The winner will be announced during a live show on June 10th at Hoyt Sherman Place in Des Moines.
The Boys Basketball Player of the Year Award is sponsored by Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company.
The Iowa High School Sports Awards, one of 20 regional shows across the nation, is a nine-month student-athlete recognition program that culminates in a red carpet show this spring. The show recognizes athletes, coaches and teams around the state who play in sanctioned Iowa high school sports.
The live show will recognize these nominees, as well as Athlete of the Year from 21 other sanctioned sports. The awards showcase also includes other top awards for student-athletes, coaches, and teams' accomplishments on and off the field, including the Courage Award, Coach of the Year, Team of the Year, and Boys and Girls Athlete of the Year Award. It will be taken up. of the year award.
