Duke Student Government elections will be held from noon Wednesday to noon Thursday, with candidates making their case to the student body.
Juniors Teddy Herr, Heather Raslan and Emily Yagoda are running for DSG president, and junior Akhilesh Sivaramakrishnan is running for executive vice president. For detailed information on each candidate, please see their profiles below.

A member of the Board of Directors of Duke Life, a fraternity of Pi Kappa Alpha, and an active member of the Duke Catholic Center, Mr. Herr is committed to supporting Duke's first-generation, low-income communities. We want to create a safer social space for Greek life organizations and selective living groups. Make DSG more responsible, accessible and dynamic.
Heather Raslan
Raslan is currently vice president of academic affairs and plans to advance community project initiatives, engage and empower student groups, and improve the internal structure of DSG.
Emily Yagoda
Yagoda, president of the Class of 2025 and vice president of campus outreach for the College of Engineering Student Government, operates on a platform built around three pillars: connect, empower, and transform.
