Can I fast travel in Eiyuden: 100 Heroes? In this Suikoden-inspired JRPG, you'll run around the continent of Allran trying to assemble a mighty army to take on the Gardea Empire, but after the first few hours you might find yourself wondering: – especially when backtracking to recruit colorful new heroes – if you can easily fast-travel to locations you've already visited. The short answer is, yes, you can, but not right away.
Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes is a massive JRPG with almost as many minigames as there are heroes to collect. One of his is Beigoma, a Beyblade-inspired mini-game that you may have missed. Luckily, we have a guide to Begomas to make sure you don't miss out. If you want to collect as many heroes as possible, check out our Eiyuden Chronicle 100 Heroes location guide for all characters.
How to unlock fast travel in Eiyuden Chronicle 100 Heroes
Like many mechanics in Eiyuden Chronicle, fast travel is fixed behind recruiting specific heroes. Fortunately, recruiting the hero in question is part of the main story. Unfortunately, you don't get to meet her until about 10 hours into her gameplay. So until you visit, don't worry about backtracking to recruit heroes in areas you've already visited.
The hero in question is aptly named Carrie, and she has the unique ability to teleport a party of heroes from one location to the next at will. Carrie will be encountered in Hishan, the capital of the game's Euclise region. After she passes through the Treefolk Village, she arrives at Euclise. However, she does not meet Carrie in Hishan until she attends a meeting with King Euclise at Hishan's Palace.
Carrie then fails a teleportation spell in hilarious fashion, causing her to suddenly appear in three places. You must encounter her three times in these locations on Bishan.
Where to find Carrie in Mt.
- East of the blacksmith
- In front of the windmill near the northeast exit
- Southwest area across the southernmost canal
If you have trouble finding her, run along the horizontal path of Mt. Bisan in a planned manner. It only takes her 1 minute. Making her part of her retinue will allow her to quickly travel to areas you have already visited. Moreover, Carrie must also progress through the main story through Tobiyama Castle.
You need to bring her to Hiyama Castle, but you don't need to add her to your direct party to fast travel. Just select her location from her map menu or return to her headquarters and talk to her. That said, she wields powerful teleportation magic that deals blunt damage to her enemies.
Now that Carry is unlocked, explore the continent of Allran to the fullest and collect over 100 heroes. Once you're done collecting everything in Eiyuden Chronicle Hyakuei, check out the best of his JRPGs to further feed your addiction to melodramatic, anime-style plots.
