Below is a summary of high school varsity activities for Monday, April 8th.
men's lacrosse
Patterson Mill 20, Beau Manor 2: Drew Pape was a donor Monday night. Pape had nine assists and scored two goals of his own in the Huskies' big win. Matt Bechtel was the leading scorer with five goals. He also recorded 2 assists. Rex Reynolds had three goals and one assist. Carson Gebhardt also had a hat trick. Samir Manning had three assists.
Chesapeake 12, Wild Lake 5: Nathan Wheeler scored four goals and assisted on two more to help the Cougars win. Talan Boehler supported him with three goals and three assists. Charlie Hall, Joke Forman and Chase Bivens all scored two points. Cade Shannon had two assists and Hunter Kappe had five saves in goal.
Severna Park 16, Marriott's Ridge 4: The visiting Falcons defeated the Mustangs with six goals from Timmy Sullivan and five goals from John Burkhardt. Jack Fish also scored a hat-trick at Severna Park. For Marriott's Ridge, Mason McQuillan had two goals and one assist and Ian Murphy had 15 saves.
women's lacrosse
Raven Lake 18, Pikesville 5: The Raiders outscored the Panthers 10-0 over the second and third quarters. Molly Fry and Sarah Watkies led a balanced attack with four goals each. Charlotte Gongon, Ali Henning and Grace Landry scored three goals. Watkies collected 10 ground balls and won 13 draws, Landry caused three turnovers and goaltender Layne Shinnick had four saves.
long reach 18, mead 2: Chiara Pompey led the Lightning attack to a dominating victory with six goals. Alaina Norton added four points and Sam Legge had two goals and one assist.
River Hill 14, Southern 11: Gabby Bergstrom scored seven points for the Hawks in a dominant victory. Kaitlyn Saulich had a hat trick and Charlotte Laraway had a goal and an assist.
soft ball
Liberty 14, Winters Mill 3: Allison Bold led the Lions over the Falcons with two hits and four RBIs. Also for Liberty, Leila Hoffman was 2-for-2 with two hits and two RBIs. Kaylin Ort hit a triple and double, and Evelyn Connor also hit a double.
Perry Hall 4, Dulaney 1: Gators win 3-0. Amelia Kitchen pitched four batters and allowed one earned run while striking out eight. On the offensive side, Madison Carl hit a triple and double and gave up a run. Kamryn D'Amico, A. Lewis and Shalimar Lopez also scored.
Reservoir 15, Atholton 2: Abby Frisvold had a no-hitter in 4/3 innings, had nine strikeouts, and was dominant in the circle. Campbell Sagin and Catherine Yurisin both had three hits to lead the offense. Sagin hit two doubles and Yurisin hit a triple.
Marriott's Ridge 10 (Howard) 1: Julianna Marsili led the Mustangs to victory, going 4-for-4 with a team-high three RBIs. Gianna Peluso and Sienna Williams each added two RBIs. Olivia Over earned the win with five innings and six strikeouts.
Havre de Grace 10, North Harford 3: Lily Dalton led a strong offensive day for the Warriors with two hits and three RBIs. Sarah Weitzel contributed to the victory by going 3-for-4 and scoring two runs. Also, Ashley Kovacics hit a home run, Bailey Kerstetter had a double and an RBI, and Kinsey Mentzer had an RBI.
Harford Tech 3, Bel Air 0: Abby Reed had a three-hit shutout with 12 strikeouts and the Cobras defeated the Bobcats. She topped Bel Air's S. Gallahue, who pitched five batters and struck out 10. On Tech's offensive line, Violet Murieri and Katie Barr had RBIs.

Fallston 1, Patterson Mill 0: Aidan Deck's double in the bottom of the seventh inning was Fallston's first hit of the game, giving the Cougars a walk-off victory. Pitcher Paul Kubek took the mound and pitched seven innings, allowing no runs and four hits, to win the game. He had eight strikeouts. Michael Hemelt pitched 5 2/3 no-hitter innings against Patterson Mill and also had eight strikeouts.
Harford Tech 8, Perryville 0: CJ Schism held the Panthers to a no-hitter, striking out 13 and allowing just two walks. For the Cobras (5-1) offense, Max Swart was 2-for-2 with two hits, two walks, two stolen bases, three runs scored and two RBIs. . Schism and Zach Lane also scored.
River Hill 2, Mount Hebron 0: The Hawks beat the Vikings in the pitching battle. For River Hill, Henry Zatkowski pitched five shutout innings with nine strikeouts, while Jake Miller and Thomas Jayne pitched scoreless innings in relief. Jonathan Bloom had both RBIs for the Hawks. For Mount Hebron, Will Cucuzella pitched six innings, with Mike Brogno giving up the only hit.
Manchester Valley 6, Westminster 3: Gene Muzzin hit a home run in the top of the fifth inning to break a tied game. Mazin pitched six innings, allowing four hits and recording 10 strikeouts. Mazin and Luke Christman each had two hits and two RBIs on the day. Nick Lopreato and Liam Ziegenfuss also scored.

Fallston 10, Aberdeen 1: The Cougars girls team led the way to victory without dropping a set. Julianna Kovalec, Lindsey Dettlot and Gwen Karatonis won the women's singles match. In doubles, Casey Resch and Ashley Tran and Skyler Brown and Eva Meyer won. On the men's side, Gordon Lefkowitz and Edison Liu won the singles title. Ryan Blair and Colby Resch dominated No. 1 doubles, 6-0, 6-0, with Zach Botzal and Luca Cangelosi also winning. Max Rueckert and Courtney Robinson won their mixed doubles match in a third-set tiebreak.
