British media outlet The Guardian has ranked the 15 best British video game magazines of all time, with Future's long-running series EDGE taking the top spot.

The usual suspects are present and correct. Mean Machines is in fifth place, and its sister publication C&VG is in third place, just ahead of the iconic Super Play. But there is also room for surprises.

Sega Saturn Official Magazine Also The book edited by Richard Leadbetter ranks even higher, coming in at number 12. Faced with the daunting prospect of covering a console that the UK had all but given up on, this publication provided the perfect insight into Saturn's best games, and ultimately turned to imports from Japan. . It is a treasure trove for hardcore gamers as it allows you to fill up your page quota.
