Integrating small-scale language models and AI technology into your data security strategy provides unprecedented accuracy and efficiency in managing and protecting your data. This change represents a major advancement in how companies approach data security.
“For about 20 years, data loss prevention has been a tool used by organizations, and it has been largely mandated by certain highly regulated industries, such as financial services and healthcare, with little thought given to compliance. ” Rivero said. “Securing data takes a lot of time and a lot of investment has made it very difficult. I mean, we've had those toolsets in the past. The market is moving, or it's easy to do that. I am working to do that.”
In a video interview with Information Security Media Group at RSA Conference 2024, Rivelo also said:
- Why traditional data security measures are overly complex and resource-intensive.
- How moving to cloud-based security consolidates tools and simplifies processes.
- How companies can align their data security strategies with current technological capabilities.
Rivelo has more than 30 years of experience across executive leadership, product management, customer support, and sales functions. He joined Force Point in January 2021 from global investment firm Francisco Partners, where he served as Senior Operating Partner. He previously served as Chief Customer Officer at Arista Networks. Prior to that, he was President and CEO of AppViewX and F5 Networks.
