FREDONIA — Ella Koopman threw five touchdown passes as Fredonia shut out Southwestern 80-0 in Division II South Flag football at the Orange Bowl on Wednesday night.
Koopman had 137 passing yards and ran for an additional 47 yards for an extra score.
Francesca Pucci had a team-high 99 yards and a score with 28 receiving yards and a touchdown. Natalia DiPalma ran for 73 yards and two touchdowns. Makayla Tabone, Julianna Snyder, Madeline Polhams, Keilianie Diaz and Ashlyn Delcamp added touchdown receptions for the Hillbillies.
Juliana Snyder gained 60 yards and scored a touchdown, and Emma Patterson added a rushing touchdown.
Defensively, Briley Wicks had five flag pulls, two interceptions, and one pass defensed. Elizabeth Morris had two flag pulls and two sacks, while Paige Elliott had three interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown. Brianna Whitfield also intercepted a pass.
Fredonia led 54-0 at halftime.
